They educate conscious youth
Volunteer educators are superheroes in Plast, who form the Ukrainian identity of children. Educators become their friends and educate them according to the Plast program.
Volunteering in Plast is a Big Game side by side with friends who have the same values as you! Anyone can join Plast as an adult!
Firstly you need to fill in the registration form to get into our volunteer base. Then you will get an email with instructions and inviting to KVDCh (Training for new volunteers)
Then you need to successfully complete this training and get Plast neckwear, first Plast degree and a volunteers roadmap.
Then you can join the organisation of Plast camps, activities and events in Lviv.
Training for new volunteers (KVDCh) - is a training for volunteers that lasts several days. There you can find out all about the organisation and try to feel the «Charm of the big game» for yourself.
This training is divided into several blocks: «About Plast», «Plast Values», «Plast nowadays» and «How does Plast work?»
The meetings at the training are conducted by Plast members-instructors who deal with various areas of activity in the organisation. They use interactive apps, presentations and game methods to acquaint volunteers with values and fields in Plast. Training ends with travel meeting where participants can complete the quest, use knowledge of practice and become friends with each other.

She found out about Plast from her sister and friends at the Ukrainian Catholic University at the age of 19. Once when she went to the mountains with her colleagues who were scouts she got the desire to join this organisation. She filled in a registration form that summer. Even then she knew she wanted to become an educator for the youth of Plast and to do that, she completed the training, went to the Plast camp and decided to make a girl hurtok(small group of scouts) in kurin (big group of scouts) 108 named after Daria Rebet. In the summer Daryna took a vacation to organise a Plast camp where girls acquired practical skills in scouting. During the year Daryna organised Plast events with friends.
She’s been an educator for 4 years now and says: «For me, my girls are my biggest motivation because they give me all their love»
He went to Plast at the age of 6. Now he's 26 and says that «Plast has not let him go(hold him) for 20 years». He had a lot of adventures when he was in cub and youth scouts: his hnizdechko (small group of cub scouts) was the first hnizdechko which climbed on Hoverla, in youth kurin unity and magic were formed by traditions of kurin and game because the game is the best way to practise skills and educate yourself. Yarema Dukh, his educator, was not just a teacher but also a role model for him to emulate in life. When Maksym turned eighteen new challenges appeared: to educate youth hurtok. «You want more children to become conscious citizens and you invest in it» - the boy says. Maksym tried himself not only in educating - he held administrative positions and was engaged in the organisation of Plast events. Now he likes to help with things he is good at: «I can help edit texts, can help educate youth, and somewhere I will contribute to the event by my input/by doing my best the event with my contribution».
«The main impact of Plast now is values learned at the right time. «Plast is a guarantee against Russian metastases: both from a real presence and a way of life," - Maksym says.
